Any exceptions to the below will be made at the discretion of Bricks A Go Go, LLC.
Code of Conduct
- Treat others with respect! Theft, cheating, being disruptive or violating the rules will result in removal from the convention without a refund.
- Leave politics at the door. This event celebrates our community’s diversity, creativity, talent and love of building systems. Please respect our fellow attendees and leave any political signs/logos, hats/T-shirts and other attire at home. We are one family, one community. Failure to do so will result in refusal of admittance or removal from the convention without a refund.
- Disorderly behavior, such as roughhousing, running, or using skateboards/scooters is prohibited and grounds for removal without a refund.
- Threatening behavior, including physical violence, stalking, unwanted touching, or inappropriate gestures will lead to immediate removal without a refund.
- Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Bricks A Go Go and or venue staff may take any action deemed appropriate, including expulsion without refund, and potential involvement of law enforcement.
- Bricks A Go Go reserves the right to ban individuals from future events for any duration deemed appropriate if they are removed for any reason, including misconduct.
- Prohibited Items: Flammable liquids, gases, weapons, or compressed gas tanks of any kind are not permitted in the event area. MOCs may not include live animals or looped/amplified audio.
- Food and beverages are allowed per the policies of the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport. Eating in the event area is discouraged; however, if you do so, dispose of trash properly. Hot plates and toaster ovens are not allowed in hotel rooms—please consult hotel policies for further details. Remember to wash your hands after eating, especially before handling bricks.
- Respect others and their creations. Models may be fragile, and not all builders welcome others handling their work. Always ask the creator for permission before touching a model.
Children
Bricks A Go Go is a convention intended for adults. Attendees ages 10 to 17 are allowed to register and attend provided they are accompanied and supervised by an adult, who must also register and attend.
Minors younger than age 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their children follow event rules and maintain respectful behavior. If a child becomes disruptive, please escort them outside of the event area. AFOL events are adult-oriented and may not be suitable for children—it is the guardian’s responsibility to remove them from inappropriate situations. Minors must not remain in the event hall between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
MOCs
Our event is produced to celebrate our builder community’s diversity, talent, creativity and love of building systems. We want to share these incredible creations with the public. However, Bricks A Go Go reserves the right to determine the suitability of any MOC to be displayed, and to refuse a MOC that does not represent the spirit of the event.
Badges
Upon check-in, each attendee will receive a printed badge, which must be worn at all times while on site. Engraved brick badges are not valid for event entry. Your printed badge serves as your access pass to Bricks A Go Go, including all seminars and workshops—please keep it secure, as lost badges cannot be replaced. If you find a lost badge or badge pieces, kindly return them to the registration desk.
Liability
Bricks A Go Go is not liable for theft, loss and/or damage of personal property.
Videography and Photography
Photography and videography are allowed unless specifically prohibited by a panelist or creator. Please minimize flash usage during presentations and workshops. Always request and obtain permission before touching or moving a model for a photograph.
